I’m Kaya.
I’m a lifelong learner, creative spirit, and community-minded mom of two. I’ve worked as a children’s librarian, supported local families through education and community connection, and moved across mountains and states—literally and figuratively.
This blog is a quiet space where I’m letting ideas take root. Sometimes I write about parenting or creativity. I explore whatever the week brings. I don’t know exactly where it’s going yet—but that’s part of the beauty.
Right now, it’s just me and the blank page, figuring it out.
I’ve always found clarity in writing—but I’ve rarely had a place to collect my thoughts without editing them for someone else. This space is different. It’s just for me (for now).
Maybe this will turn into something I share someday—a place for stories about motherhood, creative work, love of reading, transitions, and the many ways we learn and unlearn. Or maybe it’ll just be a quiet corner of the internet where I keep pieces of myself.
There’s no goal except to keep showing up. I don’t have a niche or a plan. Just some words and the desire to give them a place to live.
Welcome, whenever you arrive.
